Hand-crafted Spork?

Sometimes we encounter an object that has no logical reason for its existance.
I encountered one of these rare things…. Behold, the hand-made Spork, fashioned from a simple plastic spoon.
Why??? What is its purpose?

…say you go on a six day hike; breakfast, day one is, say, muesli. This is where the “Spo” part of the Spork comes in handy – eating breakfast cereal with a fork is just not right. Then, dinner day one is, say, two minute noodles. This is where the “ork” part of Spork is much desired as eating noodles with a spoon is well…frustrating?
Personally, why I like this gadget is is because it reminds me of one my favourite sayings (credit to Marisa)…”Spooning leads to forking!”
