MIH tech conference in Prague
One of the really great things about working at 24.com (there are lots of them) is that we are one of a number of internet and media companies around the world in which MIH and Naspers have a stake. Some our the companies we’re associated with include MXIT, Blueworld, Nimbuzz, Gadu-Gadu, iBibo, Abril, Compera nTime, Mail.ru, Allegro, Ricardo, Sanook, Buzzcity and more that I haven’t mentioned here.
It means we have a tremendous amount of talent in the group, and we get to compare notes and share experiences from time to time.
One of those times is now – I’m flying to Prague this evening to join an MIH technical conference. The focus this year is on mobile technology, but I think there is going to be a lot more to it than that. And we have some great guest speakers lined up. I’ve also been asked to present, and I’m hoping I can pull my weight in this sort of company!
