Flirtaroo mobile dating & flirting site launched
This week my colleagues over at 20fourLabs launched Flirtaroo.mobi, their mobile and web dating site.
Design was put together by the design team at 24.com.
It looks great, and I think the concept is spot-on… focus on flirting and chatting rather than full-on ‘dating’ like so many other sites. I like the fact that the site doesn’t say things like ‘meet your life-partner’ or anything too permanent and serious.
And I like the fact that it doesn’t have random photos of hot girls all over the place to try suck hopeful men into the service. Nothing wrong with hot girls of course, but I think this site is going to attract a far less desperate crowd.
What do you think? Ever used dating sites before? What did you like or dislike about them, and do you think this approach will succeed?
